Enjoy a great day on the Chesapeake bay and Potomac river with Lisa Anne Charters on a great Chesapeake deadrise. Lisa Anne Charters fishes from Drayden Maryland, accessing the St. Mary’s River and possibly also the Bay.
The Lisa Anne is a custom built 46 ft boat that was created locally by John Kinnamon. Powered by a 600 HP turbo diesel engine, the boat covers the water quickly, allowing you to optimize your time on the water. On top of that, she is a comfortable vessel that has a heated cabin, plenty of protection from the elements, and a marine head (bathroom).
Lisa Anne Charters mainly target Rockfish (Striped Bass), and the techniques they use depend on the time of year and what the fish are doing. In the Spring (from mid April to May) they troll for Rockfish, while during the summer months they focus more on chumming water and bottom fishing, catching both Rockfish and Bluefish. Come late fall (November and December) the large migratory Rockfish come through the waters again, at which point Lisa Anne Charters will resume trolling. Whatever time of year you take your trip, you can be sure they will walk you through the most effective techniques to fill the coolbox.
Gear, bait, and heat in the cabin is all supplied. Please make sure to bring weatherproof clothing and any snacks and drinks you will need for the duration of the trip.
