Old Hat Fishing Charters
Old Hat Fishing Charters will have you deep-sea fishing within minutes of leaving the dock. The warm Gulf Stream waters make fishing in Miami Beach a year-round phenomenon, with many big game species biting just two miles from shore. Add to that the expertise of two experienced captains and you are sure to bring home a catch to remember. Join them and come see what’s biting!
The “Old Hat” is a 43’ custom sportfishing yacht built in 1979 and completely restored with new Cummins engines in 2004. This charter boat is one of the cleanest in the area, equipped with top-of-the-line tackle. On board, you will find everything you need for deep-sea fishing, including a flybridge, outriggers, and a fighting chair. More than merely capable, this boat also caters to your comfort. An onboard toilet and air-conditioned interior will make it seem as though you never left shore.
Running this vessel are Captain Chad and Captain Charlie, both lifelong fishermen. No matter who is at the helm that day, your trip will be guided by years of local experience and professional insight. They welcome anglers of all ages aboard, whether you choose to join them for a full day on the water or just a few hours.
Trips depart from the inlet between Miami Beach and Hollywood Beach. From there, it takes just six minutes to reach the ocean, where you can target Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Kingfish, Tuna, and much more. Depending on the species, the crew will help you try your hand at trolling, bottom fishing, and kite fishing.
Old Hat Fishing Charters include a fishing license and quality tackle, featuring custom rods and Shimano reels. Depending on the species, you are welcome to keep your catch and the crew will clean and fillet it for you.
Come aboard today for a deep-sea fishing experience like no other, in Miami Beach, Florida!
