Captain Troy Birchfield is a friendly and fun person to be around, and he loves families and children. He enjoys teaching newcomers different fishing techniques and seeing their delighted faces when they catch their first fish, and will stop at nothing to make sure you get what you want. His boat is a luxurious 52’ Hatteras convertible sportfishing boat. Restored in 2013, she features all modern amenities, so your comfort is ensured. She boasts a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, leather couches, a 46-inch TV, as well as 3 air conditioners and a full kitchen with an ice maker. You’ll want for nothing when aboard, so come and live the high life.
She’s also a serious sportfishing vessel, featuring a GPS, radar, VHF radio, and a fishfinder to locate the best fishing spots full of fish waiting to bite, so you won’t waste a second. She boasts all the necessary safety equipment, so you’ve got nothing to worry about as you go after the catch of a lifetime.
Destin is known as the "sportfishing capital of the world" and you’ll have access to plenty of species during your time aboard. From Groupers, Snappers and Jacks nearshore, to Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and mighty sharks such as Mako and Hammerhead offshore, there’s something for everyone.
