The boat is a luxurious 52 foot Hatteras convertible sport fishing boat, which was originally built in 1984 and restored in 2013. It is powered by two 880 HP Detroit 8V92 engines producing almost 3,000 HP between them. The boat has a bedroom, two bathrooms, two showers, leather couches, a 46-inch satellite TV, as well as 3 air conditioners and a full kitchen with an ice maker.
The boat also has a GPS, a radar, a VHF radio for communication with the USCG, a fishfinder to locate the best fishing spots full of fish waiting to bite. You will have a peace of mind knowing it comes with all the safety equipment including life jackets, EPIRB, flares, a life raft, fire extinguishers and a CPR trained crew.
Since you will be fishing the diverse waters of South Florida, you will have access to plenty of species. Most commonly caught are Broomtail and Gag Grouper, Red and Mangrove Snapper, Wahoo, Cero and Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, and the mighty sharks such as Mako and Hammerhead. The variety of species means you will also be using different techniques so you can fish may stiles all on one trip.
The necessary equipment such as rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial bait, and a Florida Fishing license are all included. Captain Troy will clean and fillet your catch when you return to shore so you can take it away for a nice lunch or dinner, as there is nothing more satisfying than eating your own catch.
