Kristel Fishing Aruba - 44’ Striker
Kristel Fishing Aruba - 44’ Striker
Kristel Fishing Aruba is run by one of the most caring and passionate fishermen around who values his crew and guests, and treats them like family. Captain Mike has been fishing since he was 4 years old, and has been a charter operator for over 30 years, which he enjoys immensely as it allows him to be on the water and meet new guests every day. His crew are professional fishermen and first mates who love fishing and helping guest reel in fish. They will celebrate the excitement of your catch with you and make you feel like a part of the family.
You will fish aboard Captain Mike’s 44 foot Striker motor yacht, which was originally built in 1973 and restored in 2013. The boat is powered by two 450 HP Cummings engines with a maximum cruising speed of 26 knots, and a capacity for 15 guests. This beautiful boat is equipped with all the amenities you might need on a fishing trip such as a bathroom, a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, a TV, a multimedia system and is air conditioned throughout which is a great deal in the warm Aruban sun. You will also find all the safety necessities such as life vests, a liferaft, flares and fire extinguishers. Also, the boat has a spectacular flybridge which can be used for Tuna and game fish watching.
Kristel Fishing Aruba will take you on an offshore fishing adventure where you will be targeting the most desirable fish species such as White and Blue Marlin, Barracuda, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Yellowfin and Albacore Tunas. The crew will assist you and provide the fishing equipment in terms of rods, reels, tackle, lures, a fishing license, outriggers, downriggers and fighting chair. At the end of your trip they can even clean and fillet your catch. You will have snacks and drinks on the half day trip, and a sandwich too on the full day trip. Please advise the captain if you are bringing your children along so he can advise you better on the stuff you’ll need on the trip.

Took a half day am trip. 9 total on the boat including younger kids and a grandma. Crew was fantastic. Tom, first mate, worked his tail off.
More importantly, the crew knew where the fish were and put us on them. We caught a total of 10 fish.
I’ve been on many deep sea trips and this was one of the best. The boat itself was a little small for 9 but most boats are.
Highly recommend this crew to anyone looking to have a great time fishing in Aruba.

We have never been deep sea fishing before. We scheduled the morning trip and arrived to the boat at 7am and as soon as we were on the boat we took off. The winds were blowing pretty hard and the sea was rough but they kept working to get us into the fish. They were always adjusting the bait and lines to keep us active. We caught several tuna, a few blue runner and a large wahoo. We were not disappointed. They cleaned a few fish for us and a large piece of the wahoo to take to a restaurant straight off the pier for lunch. What’s better than eating fish not even an hour out of the water!! The boat is larger than the others I saw at the pier and had a nice, large area inside if someone did not want to be outside.
We really enjoyed the experience and would do it again when we come back.

Excellent day. Captain doesn’t talk much which is great because he is driving the boat. And I left my favorite hat and he brought it back to my place. Great service. First mate worked hard to keep equipment baited and checked. We left on time and addressed several spots. First mate cleaned well and didn’t mind letting me get dirty too. Fish was delicious. Had a quick bite of fresh raw tuna right on the dock from the first cut by the mate. Can’t get any more fresh than that. Loved it. See you guys next year.
