Zighy Bay Sport Fishing is an adventure providing charter that was established for fun and pleasure of its captains and their guest. You will fish aboard their 35 foot Al Marakeb center console boat which was built in 2016, and has a capacity for 5 people. It is powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines with a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots. This boat has all the latest electronics such as a GPS, a VHF radio, a radar and an excellent fishfinder which will help you locate the best fishing spots. You will also make good use of the icebox to store your catch until you return to the shore, as well as a wireless trolling motor which will make the boat very quiet in order not to spook the fish. There is also all the necessary safety equipment in form of life jackets, flares and a first-aid kit. The boat is also has a toilet and a shower which come in very handy if you plan to swim with the fish a little.
Zighy Bay Sport Fishing fishes the Musandam Peninsula in the Gulf of Oman which is incredibly rich in Trevally species - from Giant to Golden, you can catch a load of them any day. You will also have the opportunity to fish for Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Great Barracudas, King Mackerel, Broomtail Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Queenfish, Yellowfin and Longtail Tuna among other species. The crew of the boat will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits, and will also serve soda-water on board. Bring some protective clothing, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses and a wide smile, as you are in for an adventure.

A FULL day on the water, caught a bunch of fish and many varieties- Snapper, Hammour, rainbow runner, Big-eye trevalley, Queenfish, Bonnita, Yellow-spot Trevalley…not sure what else
