Sea Spray Fishing Charters 

Sea Spray Fishing Charters is operated by Captain Scott Schafer who loves fishing the Montauk waters and knows them very well. He has fished these waters for a long time and will be able to put you on the sweetest spots full of fish waiting to bite. Captain Scott loves kids and teaching them about fishing, as well as teaching novice anglers how to look for fish, how to hook and land it too. He is a patient and warm person with whom you will have a memorable day catching delicious species.

The Sea Spray is a 51 foot custom built Sullivan Boat Works downeast boat, which was built in 1992 and can hold up to 30 guests. It is powered by a brand new 650 HP Detroit engine with a maximum cruising speed of 14 knots. The boat is fully equipped with all the safety features including a liferaft, EPIRB and a CPR-trained crew. It also has a brand new fishfinder ideal for locating the deep water fishing spots where the big game fish swim. You will also find a full sized toilet, a bed, air-conditioning, a kitchen and wheelchair access aboard this boat.

Sea Spray Fishing Charters will take you fishing in the Montauk inshore waters for species such as Cod, Black and Striped Seabass, Flounder, Porgy and Mackerel. You can also take a full day trip into the deep waters where Mako Sharks, Blue Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Bluefish and Mahi Mahi swim. Captain Scott will provide all the fishing gear including rods, reels, tackle and bait, and will also clean and fillet your catch at the end of your trip so you can take it home for a nice meal. You are advised to bring food, drinks and snacks, and protective clothing on your trips in order to enjoy them to the maximum.
