Snark Charters invites you to join them on their fishing adventure aboard a well-known big game fishing boat on the waters of Malindi, Kenya. The crew will work hard to make sure your trip is enjoyable and unforgettable.
You will be fishing aboard a legendary “Snark”, which was originally built in 1960 and was restored in 2016. The “Snark” is a 22-foot Wooden hull built in Kenya and comes powered by twin 120 HP Marine Ford Sabers engines. Its navigational electronics include a GPS, a fish finder, and a VHF radio. There is an icebox to store your refreshments, a toilet, and a bed for maximum comfort on the water, as well as a flybridge to enjoy the beautiful coast. The boat is also equipped with a fighting chair, Tuna tubes, outriggers, centerriggers, downriggers, and a live bait tank. It can cater up to four anglers.
The Snark Charters season begins in July and goes through September. The waters or Malindi have a rich fish population. You will be able to target King Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Giant Trevally, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mangrove Snapper. The Snark crew promote catch-and-release practices for Blue Marlin and Sailfish, in an effort to protect the fishery resources of the world.
Your trip will include Penn rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, and the fishing licenses. The crew will offer drinks during the trip, so you may feel free to bring your own snacks.

Justine and crew tried their best to make our trip memorable. The fishing was not at its best but we did boat several species including kingfish, garfish, bonito, wahoo and GT.
