Brag And Release – Lady J

Brag And Release offers unforgettable fishing adventures in historic Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. You will enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere created by Captain Al and his team of professional mates. They are all extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient, and make sure you have a great time aboard.

Murrells Inlet is known as “The Seafood Capital of South Carolina.” The unique ecosystem created by the confluence of the Waccamaw River and the Atlantic Ocean allows for species such as the exquisite-tasting Flounder and Black Seabass to populate these waters in healthy numbers.

You will fish aboard the “Lady J,” an 18’ Sundance center console boat. It’s powered by a 90 HP Mercury engine, making it the perfect boat to explore these prolific waters. With all the navigational equipment on board, as well as an icebox and a live well, there’s everything you need for a productive trip.

Target species include Redfish, Black Drum, and Flounder. You’ll be using a variety of fishing gear, rods, reels, live baits, and lures, and will be given plenty of advice by your experienced captain and crew. They will also provide a fishing license, so you have nothing to worry about.

Children are welcome to join in the fun, so bring your kids and have a great adventure making some new family memories. At the end of your trip, the crew will even clean and fillet your catch, so you can treat yourself to a nice dinner at home.

Join Brag and Release and enjoy a great day of fishing under the South Carolina sun!

My dad first got me onto fishing around the age of 9. When I first stepped on a boat and held a fishing rod in my hands, I knew that it was something I wanted to do. We both loved the water and boats, and so over the years, we went fishing every chance we had. As I got older, I bought my own boat and continued to fish as much as I could. I fished up and down the coast from Maine to Florida, mostly enjoying offshore fishing, but I have to admit that nearshore fishing can be just as fun and exciting. I decided to become a charter captain so that others could experience the joy of fishing. Whether with a group of friends or a family, there is nothing like getting on the water and watching the smiles on everyone's faces and creating memories for a lifetime. To this day, Brag and Release Fishing Charters continues to create memories for all our guests. Come fish with us, and get used to the screaming reels and tail-walking fish... because "THAT'S HOW WE TROLL"
