West Kimberley Fishing Tours is an experienced provider of Broome fishing trips. Offering “hands on” experiences that are tailored made to suit your wishes, skill level, and the time of year, they give anglers of all experience levels the chance to enjoy fishing the local area without being just another member of the crowd.
Whether you decide to go for a Barramundi fishing adventure or a coastal and reef fishing tour, your trip will start off with a complimentary pickup service. Then, you will be taken to the boat, and you will set off on your adventure. With amazing fishing spots just a 15 minute boat ride from the shore, it won’t be long before your line is in the water and you feel the bite of a fish.
Your trip will take place aboard the “White Pearl”, West Kimberley Fishing Tours’ new, improved fishing vessel. Measuring 7 m long, this walkaround vessel has room for up to six people to fish, and it comes complete with a toilet and a freshwater wash down for your comfort onboard. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha V6 engine, the boat will reach the best fishing spots in no time, and it is adapted to fish both inshore and out over the reefs.
If you choose a Barramundi fishing trip, you will spend your time fishing inshore. Barramundi won’t be your only target - huge Threadfin, Salmon, and Mud Crabs also call these waters home. As these trips are governed by tides, make sure to consult the guide about the best time to fish.
Go for an offshore sportfishing trip, and your time on the water will look a bit different. Instead of Barramundi, you will be going for fish such as Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, and reef fish, while also enjoying views of whales, dolphins, sharks, crocodiles, turtles, and birds.
All the fishing gear you will need for your trip is provided by West Kimberley Fishing Tours, who will also come prepared with muesli bars, fruit and bottled water for everyone on board. You should bring a towel, camera, and shoes that can be taken off easily. Enjoy!
