Launching late 2017, Black & Blue Marlin Charters is based in Exmouth, Western Australia, on the doorstep of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef, the Indian Ocean and North West Cape and the waters of Exmouth Gulf.
Depending on the season, the main target species are Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish, although the crew regularly encounters Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna. They practice catch and release for all aquatic species, however caught fish may be kept, providing they meet the approved species, size and bag limit specifications as provided by WA Department of Fisheries.
Black & Blue Marlin Charters is very proud to be introducing the Pelagic Interceptor, Australia’s first custom built, double stepped hull, centre console sport fishing vessel. At 9m and powered by twin 250 HP Suzuki’s, ‘Y-Knot’ is fitted with the latest Furuno technology to keep us on the water all day every day, chasing our target species. The boat was designed by Chris Tucker of Chris Tucker Marine Design (CTMD) and built by PHa Welding & Marine. Y-Knot has numerous impressive inclusions to provide the ultimate in comfort and safety for our crew and guests.
The crew of Black & Blue Marlin is pleased to offer full day offshore trips to the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean, Ningaloo Reef, North West Cape, and Exmouth Gulf.
