You will be sailing aboard a 21’ Hewes saltwater fishing boat. It comes powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine and is rigged with top-of-the-line navigational electronics. The vessel’s wireless trolling motor and anchoring system will aid your search for the fish.
A half-day or a full-day trip can take you fishing the reefs, flats, backcountry or inshore. Depending on the trip you chose, you will be able to target a variety of species, including Cobia, Permit, Snook, and Goliath Grouper.
Joey Flats Fishing is also child-friendly! Captain Jose uses different fishing techniques that he can teach his guests. From light tackle to bottom fishing, fly fishing, popping, jigging and spinning… as long as you are up for a challenge!
Your trip will include rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and licenses. What is more, you will not be left starving – the captain will offer you snacks, drinks, and lunch during the trip. The fish you catch will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home. Just Make sure to contact the captain to discuss your location prior to the trip.
