Departing from S.F. Fisherman’s Wharf, the Argo is a world-class experience with incredible on-the-water views of the surrounding San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
Designed to accommodate up to 6 anglers in spacious comfort and style, the 33 ft Argo is a classic machine. Powered by a new 250-HP Scania engine, the vessel features an attractive wood interior cabin and all the top-notch navigational electronics. The vessel is spacious and comfortable providing a pleasant ride anywhere you go. The Argo has a private clean flush-toilet on board for maximum comfort and a large dinette area.
The Captain will take you to the best possible fishing grounds, within San Francisco Bay, or in the ocean. Depending on the season, the Argo generally focuses on Salmon, Halibut, Striped Bass, Rockfish and Sturgeon. Leopard sharks are catch and release only and Dungeness crab November and December.
Captain Craig is always happy to share his knowledge about different fish species and how to catch them. Fishing with various techniques, ranging from light to heavy tackle, from trolling to drift fishing, the crew will always do their best to put you on fish. All tackle and bait are including.
