The fishing will take place aboard the Glorious 001, which is a 58’ locally crafted traditional Maldivian boat which was made for offshore sportfishing. This new beauty was built in 2016 and is powered by a 115 HP Yanmar engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 10 knots. The speed of the boat makes it excellent for sailing and fishing using a wide variety of techniques.

Glorious 001 comes with one day-use cabin, comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water. The boat is delivered with a full complement of crew. It is air-conditioned throughout the living area and has entertainment systems and the latest safety features. The boat features 2 spacious sun-decks for guests to sun bask.

You will have a hard time forgetting the crystal clear waters that are home to species such as Tuna, Barracuda, Red Emperor, Mahi Mahi, and the excellent game fish Giant Trevally and Marlin. There are other species of course, such as Rainbow Runner and Grouper which are delicious to eat and fun to catch.
