Harbour Fishing Charters operates out of the beautiful and serene Havannah Harbour running a variety of fishing trips in the area’s pristine waters. Located on the island’s Northeast corner, this sheltered bay sits right on the “Marlin Highway”, an area famous for its incredible billfishing, and for the huge variety of species which pass by throughout the year.
You will be fishing aboard a 26 ft Seaswirl Striper 2601 powered by twin Suzuki outboards up to a cruising speed of 25 knots. This hardy and reliable vessel has plenty of room aboard for 4 anglers, and comes equipped with everything you could ask for for a great day’s fishing: GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, downriggers, and even tuna tubes - she packs a lot of gear for her size!
What you will be fishing depends hugely on when you go, with Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Striped and Black Marlins making seasonal appearances across the winter months, and Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, GTs and more found all year round. No matter when you go, though, you can be sure that Harbour Fishing Charters will provide you with nothing but the best Shimano rods and reels set up for a variety of techniques including a choice of light and heavy tackle, and the option to bottom fish, troll, spin, pop, and jig to maximise your chances if the rods stop bending.
All Harbour Fishing Charters trips come with live bait, drinks, and a cleaning and filleting service for whatever you want to take away, and 6 and 8 hour trips also come with lunch to keep you stamina up on those hard-fought days.
