The boat you’ll be learning and fishing on is a 29 foot Mimsa skiff, designed to get you to the fishing grounds with ease and speed. The boat is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. It contains the latest electronics in the form of a GPS and a fishfinder, as well as all the safety equipment needed.

VIP Private Tours fishing charters will teach you how to fish in the crystal clear waters off of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. You’ll be targeting prized species such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin and many more!  All the equipment and bait you’ll need will be provided by the captain as well as an icebox to store your catch. While fishing, you’ll be able to listen to music and enjoy drinks and snacks.

Novice anglers will learn all the fishing basics and if you’d like, you will also be able to learn how to drive the boat and make ceviche out of your fresh catch.
