Cooper Landing Fishing Guide LLC is dedicated to Salmon and Trout fishing on the great Kenai River. The company is owned by guide David and his lovely girlfriend Jackie, who fish the river almost every day of the year and know exactly where the best places to fish are.

They are based in the mountain town of Cooper Landing, Alaska, located at the confluence of the River Kenai and Lake Kenai. The breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains, the untouched nature, and the wild animals will leave a lasting impression on you. For your guides will show you all the beauty this magical place holds, and more.

Their goal is simple: to share their intimate knowledge of the Kenai Peninsula with you and make your day on the water one of the most memorable days you’ll have in Alaska. They will take you fishing for Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Warden. Depending on the time of the year you go fishing, your guide will advise you which fish can be caught and where.

Cooper Landing Fishing Guide LLC operate a 20 foot Willies aluminum fishing drift boat,  originally built in 2003, and restored in 2016. The boat is powered by a 9.9 HP Yamaha engine making it perfect for the Kenai River in terms of the speed you want to move at, and the type of fishing suited to these waters.

The boat is equipped with life jackets for safety, fly fishing equipment, standard rods, reels and tackle and is also wheelchair accessible. Your guide will clean and fillet your Salmon so you can take it with you. The Rainbow Trout and Dollies are Catch and Release only.

OWNER/GUIDE DAVID LISI of Cooper Landing Fishing Guide, LLC located in the small mountain town of Cooper Landing, Alaska where he is a year-round resident, guide, carpenter and trout bum. On any given day, you will most likely find Dave on the banks of the Kenai swinging for trout with his best friend and girlfriend, Jackie. Dave spent most days of his youth wading the waters of upstate New York fishing for smallmouth bass, muskie, pike and walleye. His journey to Alaska was sparked by a chance fishing trip on the Salmon River in New York with Mike Harpe, a legendary guide on the Kenai River. After the fishing day was done, Mike invited Dave to Alaska to fish the mighty Kenai River. At that time, Dave thought fishing Alaska was a pipe dream and didn’t arrive in Alaska until several years later to take Mike up on his offer.
