Alaska Kenai Fishing For Fun

Soldotna AK, United States

Alaska Kenai Fishing For Fun provide fun filled Alaskan fly fishing adventures on the Kenai River. They are run by guide James and Brad, who both love fly fishing and are excellent Trout and Salmon guides. They will share with you the guided fishing experience of a lifetime on the River Kenai and other local rivers.

You can fish for Coho (Silver) Salmon, Sockeye (Red) Salmon, Chinook (King) Salmon, as well as Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. Each species is interesting, and need we say, delicious, and will prove a good sport, too. All you have to do is pay close attention, as you’ll be receiving expert advice on how to fly fish.

The fishing will be done out of a 19 foot ClackaCraft boat, originally built in 2007 and powered by a 9.8 HP Tohatsu engine. The boat is perfect for getting you to the secluded spots and the productive fishing grounds, where you will be able to wade and drift fish for your favorite species.

The boat is equipped with life jackets and fly fishing equipment, as well as an anchor for when you want to stay in the honey spot where the fish swim in schools. You will have all the fishing gear included, so please make sure you get the appropriate stamp on the fishing license.

Alaska Kenai Fishing for Fun is a child-friendly charter that welcomes families and encourages parents to bring kids along so they can learn about this great sport and the local fisheries, as well as how to preserve them for the generations to come.

Book a trip with Alaska Kenai Fishing for Fun and they will share all of their knowledge, experience, and gear you need to land that wild Alaskan fish of your dreams.

Charter is operated by guides Brad and James. Brad's guiding philosophy is to strive to exceed the expectations of all of his clients while always doing his very best to respect and protect the fishery. He has been asked many of times if he guarantees fish on his guided trips. And the answer is always the same: he guarantees you have fun! Fishing is not a hobby for him nor is it an occupation. It is a passion that he lives and loves to share with others. Guide James had learned a variety of fishing technques in Montana, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana - all the places he lived in while growing up. He chose fly fishing as his primary focus, with fishing on the Kenai Peninsula for Trout and Salmon.
