Crappie are fun to catch, and you can use light tackle to jig for them. Your guide for the day is Tim Howell. He’s been fishing for twenty years, and has tactics to put you on fish. He has participated in numerous Crappie fishing tournaments, and his skills will be of great help on your outing.

He will welcome you aboard his 21 Skeeter bass boat. She is powered by a 225 HP Yamaha HDPI engine, and can go really fast. Up to four anglers can come along, and still have enough space to fish.

The boat is equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, a wireless trolling motor, and a live bait well. She alo hosts the standard safety equipment. When you set out, Tim will provide the rods, reels, and tackle, lures, and you will fish for live bait. Make sure to bring a valid fishing license.

Guide Tim will also clean and fillet your catch. He will bring food and drinks, so that you can boost your stamina along the way. If you need a place to stay during the night, Tim also has a cabin with two bedrooms. Price per night is USD 150, and up to six people can find lodgings there.

Great time even with the windy conditions. First time Crapie fishing Tim was a great instructor learned a lot. Already looking at next year in the spring returning for some more fishing. Took my 13 year old boy and he really can’t wait to go again.
