Mike’s Charters & Tours is your answer to a big fishing trip at a small price. This well-established local operator invites you to join the fun on an unforgettable Nuevo Vallarta shared fishing trip. With trips running every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, anglers who are not part of a large group are now finally able to experience big game fishing at a flat price per person.
During your trip, you will be fishing aboard one of Mike’s fully-rigged sport fishing boats, with all the same amenities you would enjoy on a private charter. The only difference is, you will be fishing with a group of six to eight other people. Take it in turns to sit in the fighting chair and reel in a fish under the expert guidance of a professional, bilingual mate, and learn about the best local fishing techniques, species, and marine biology. Best of all, you will be able to taste the reward of your efforts on the rod and reel with freshly made ceviche prepared for you on board from the fish you catch.
Your eight hour trip will see you targeting species such as Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, and maybe even the iconic Sailfish. Armed with freshly caught live bait and top of the range rods and reels, you will have everything you need for the fishing trip of a lifetime off Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
Just like on private trips, Mike’s Charters & Tours provides ice cold bottled water, a packed lunch, insurance, safety equipment, fishing licenses, and a whale watching permit in the trip price. Just remember to bring a towel, sunscreen, and any beer/soft drinks you desire and get ready for an amazing Nuevo Vallarta shared fishing trip.
Transportation to and from the dock is not provided. Please don’t forget to tip your hardworking bilingual mate!
