Fish Whistle Charters fishes some of the best spots in New York state and they have been doing so for nearly three decades. Join them and see for yourself what it is that draws fishing addicts to this area in their hundreds every year.

Spring on the Hudson River means only one thing to anglers - and that’s Stripers. From late April onwards, Striped Bass make their way up Hudson River upstream towards their spawning grounds. This makes for some unforgettable fishing, and to get the most of it you need an expert to show you the best secret fishing spots and techniques.

This is where Captain John Graham comes in. John has been fishing these waters for most of his life and has fished for Stripers for many seasons. With unbeatable local knowledge of the best spots and techniques for Husdson River Striper fishing, he will walk you through the best ways to catch your target, whatever your age and experience level.

Take a trip with Captain John, and you will be fishing aboard the Fish Whistle, a 20 ft dual console Angler boat. The boat is powered by a reliable 2014 Mercury outboard engine that gets it up to speeds of over thirty knots. With Lowrance GPS and fish finding devices on board, as well as a Marine VHF radio, it can scout out the best fishing spots, and its 30 gallon live well will keep your bait in the best condition to attract a hungry Striped Bass.

All the tackle and bait you will need for your fishing adventure will be provided for you by Fish Whistle Charters, and the captain will also be happy to clean and fillet any fish you decide to keep at the end of the trip. Please make sure you have a valid fishing license before boarding the boat.
