Celtic Quest Fishing Fleet

118 West Broadway
Port Jefferson NY, United States

Celtic Quest Fishing Fleet offers private big party fishing excursions in Port Jefferson, New York. This is a family owned and operated party charter business serving the community since 2002. They provide families and children with great opportunities to spend a day together on the water. This is at the heart of their values as a company.

You will fish aboard a massive 70 foot Yank performance fishing boat, originally built in 1979, and restored in 2016. It is powered by two 500 HP Detroit engines, and appropriately named Celtic Grace. The boat has a capacity for 70 guests, and comes equipped with all the electronics and safety equipment needed for a successful trip. There is also a toilet on board which is a huge plus when the whole family is out.

Celtic Quest Fishing Fleet can take you on inshore and nearshore excursions, and you can also fish the local reefs and wrecks. The fish here are plentiful so you can easily catch a Striped Bass which is very popular for its good game and food qualities. If you are after a tasty dinner, it doesn’t get better than the excellent tasting Flounder and Black Seabass.

Your trip can also produce Tautog which is hard to catch pound for pound and prove an excellent challenge in the Fall. And finally, Scup or Porgy which like the warmer inshore waters in the Spring and are loved for their mild taste.

Celtic Quest Fishing Fleet will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, a fishing license and you’ll have a first mate to help you out. Please bring your own lures and.or live baits depending on the fish you want to catch. You will fish in a friendly atmosphere surrounded by a fun and helpful crew. You are welcome to keep the catch so make sure you bring a cooler along so you can transport your catch home safely.
