Guatemala Fishing Tours offers whale and seabird watching tours in addition to fishing charters targeting an all-star cast of offshore species. Guatemala is renowned for its unbeatable sailfishing. This, along with the area’s beautiful nature and warm Pacific waters, makes Puerto Quetzal the perfect destination for the ultimate fishing holiday!
The vessel you will be fishing aboard is a 26’ Shamrock offshore sportfishing boat that was completely overhauled in 2010. Powered by twin 160 HP Yanmar engines, it cruises at a respectable 20 knots, and can carry up to 5 guests in luxury and style.
The vessel comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, a full spread of outriggers, downriggers, and centerriggers, a livewell, and even tuna tubes! It also boasts a clean, comfortable interior complete with a cabin, bathroom with freshwater shower. There’s plenty of space to relax between bites, either down below deck, or up on high on the flybridge.
When it comes to fishing you won’t find a better selection of equipment anywhere in the country. A choice of light and heavy tackle is standard. Depending on your preference and target species you can set up for bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, popping, jigging, and even fly and bowfishing.
Truly things don’t get better than this – an experienced captain and skilled crew taking you out on a great boat with top of the line gear to catch some of the best big game species on the planet!
All trips come with drinks, lunch, licenses, and a cleaning and filleting service for anything you want to take away at the end of the day. The company respects all national laws, both maritime and terrestrial. All staff are highly qualified for their respective tasks and every boat contains safety measures and a medical kit in case of an emergency.
Explore the productive fishing grounds of the Pacific, and have a memorable fishing adventure with Guatemala Fishing Tours!
