Endless Summer Flats Fishing
Endless Summer Flats Fishing invites you for a day on the shallow waters of Key West, Florida. Your guide and charter boat Captain Grif Helwig’s specialty is guiding customers on the flats targeting some of the prized fish species that call these waters their home.
You will fish aboard a 16’ Maverick flats boat, originally built in 1993, and restored in 2015. It is powered by a 90 HP Evinrude E-TEC engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots, which makes it very fast. The boat features all the safety and electronic equipment needed for a safe and successful trip.
There is also a live bait tank and an icebox that will preserve the freshness of your catch until you return to the shore. You will have all the fishing gear on board, including spin tackle and fly fishing equipment. Capt. Grif will take you fishing for Barracuda, Bonefish, Mutton Snapper, Permit, Jack Crevalle, Sharks -Bull and Lemon, Spotted Seatrout, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon and more.
The captain prefers catch-and-release practices for all species, but you are welcome to keep the fish you intend to eat for dinner. He will provide a cleaning and filleting service at the end of the trip, so bring a cooler and some ice for transportation.
Explore the prolific inshore waters of Key West with Endless Summer Flats, and enjoy a great day of fishing under the Floridian sun!
