Shallow Stalkers Rod & Bowfishing operates out of Orange Beach, LA, targeting a huge range of sport and table fish such as Rays, Sharks, Flounder, Mullet, Sheepshead, Drum and many more. As the name suggests, what makes Shallow Stalkers special is that they offer both traditional rod and reel fishing, and a sport not many people have tried but which is growing in popularity - bowfishing.
Whether you fish by day or by night, with hooks or with arrows, you will be spending your time aboard Captain Zack’s 20 ft aluminum flat bottom boat. Custom built and fresh out of the workshop in 2017, this tailor-made fishing platform offers masses of stable deck space, and lights up the whole area at night thanks to its 14 ultra-bright LED flood lamps.
Shallow Stalkers Rod & Bowfishing was created with the goal of giving everyone on board a fun, safe, and memorable time on the water. Captain Zack knows that in the 21st century not everyone is skilled with a bow, so he runs through the basics on how to use this gear with each group, making sure everyone knows what they are doing before going out on the water. Once out, he will be on hand the whole time, offering advice on the best techniques and doing everything he can to make your trip one you will never forget.
On inshore rod & reel trips, you will be furnished with high quality tackle for a variety of techniques, and will be taken to all Captain Zack’s best spots in order to bring in the widest variety of catch. For those looking for the best of both worlds, you can choose to do a “2 for 2” trip, where you get to catch fish both with a bow and with a rod, giving you the most diverse fishing experience possible.
All trips come with all tackle, licenses and cleaning and filleting for your catch, just remember to bring a big cooler to fit it all in!
