He was absolutely the best and most fun we have had. Doug was great fun for the entire family and crew. We are saving his name and number for our next rip. We had used other charters in the past but they were booked for our dates. Got lucky with this change and won’t be changing back.

Unfortunately had to spend almost the first hour trying to catch our bait. Saw cool wildlife in meantime (dolphin, manatees, etc) but didn’t hook a decent fish til about 3 hours in. Captain can’t control when the the fish bite or how big, but we only took home bait fish caught in the casting net. He did hook us up with a couple good fish but first line broke and the 2nd fish turned out to be too large. Had to toss him back, but that’s maritime biology for you.

This trip was worth every penny. Capt. Doug suggested if we wanted to catch a lot of fish, that we fish for trout. We caught so many that we couldn’t take pictures of them all. Capt. Doug was knowledgeable, easy going, and he was able to get his boat into shallow holes. We will definitely call Capt. Doug on our next trip.
