Maldivian Fishing By Sancia Lodge invites you for a spectacular fishing trip in the beautifully clear waters of the Maldives. This magical island is home to the Vaavu Atoll where your trip will commence, and that is truly a heaven on earth. This is the smallest atoll in the Maldives in terms of the population, and thus has more unspoiled nature to be explored.
Vaavu Atoll is also where Sancia Lodge is located. The lodge is owned by Captain T Bag who also operates the boat you will fish from. He is a kind and pleasant person who is much loved by all previous guests. He makes sure everyone has a great time and always goes above and beyond to provide a memorable service.
You will fish aboard his 20-foot custom fiberglass boat which is brand new, being built in 2017. It is powered by a 40 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 23 knots. This engine makes it fast on the water and transports you to your fishing destination efficiently.
It is equipped with life vests for your safety and has a fishfinder to locate the best spots on the reefs. Captain T Bag is CPR certified so you know you are in safe hands.
Maldivian Fishing By Sancia Lodge is family and child-friendly, and they encourage you to bring your kids along for the ride as they will enjoy unparalleled sights of the marine life. The local reefs are good feeding grounds for species such as Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Snappers, as well as smaller colorful species.
Your trip will include all the fishing gear needed to target the fish, and you will enjoy non-alcoholic drinks, fruits, and sandwiches, too. Make sure you bring a camera to capture the amazing sights and your catch!
Accommodation can be arranged at Sancia Lodge, Vaavu Atoll, Fulidhoo, Maldives.
