Play N Hooky Sportfishing looks forward to taking you on a Hawaiian Deep Sea Fishing Adventure. The charter is operated by Captain Joe O’Neill, who’s been fishing the waters of Hawaii since the early 1970s, as well as Captain Teoni Black who also has decades of deep sea fishing experience in Hawaii. Both men are excellent captains with the number one priority that you have fun!
You will fish aboard a 41-foot Hatteras named Play n Hooky that is powered by two 380 HP Cummins engines. The boat is safe and powerful on the water and contains all the electronics needed for a successful trip. Play N Hooky has a large cockpit for fighting fish, a comfortable air-conditioned salon, a kitchen, and a toilet.
Your charter will include all the fishing gear necessary: Rods, reels, line, lures, tackle, equipment, bait, etc. Fishing will take place in the offshore waters off of Oahu Hawaii where you can catch Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Spearfish, Wahoo, and Tunas – Skipjack, Bigeye, and Yellowfin.
You will be able to use a fighting chair when tackling big fish, and the first mate will be by your side to assist you. Once the trip is over, the crew can share the catch up to 50 lbs. Any fish over 100 pounds will not be cut into and will be sold.
Gratuity is not included in your charter and 20% is customary if you enjoy your fishing experience.
