Living A Dream Guide Service

Living A Dream Guide Service is your choice for a fun, safe, and family-friendly fishing charter in the inshore waters of Slidell, Louisiana. Run by Captain Eric and Living A Dream that was sparked between him and his son Chris (RIP), this is a charter that will get you and your family out on the water with a smile on your faces.

During your trip, you will be fishing the way that the fish wants to bite. That means, if they are responding well to plastic, that’s what you will use! If they want like bait and that’s available, you fish with that instead. Depending on the season, you could be using shrimp and croakers, while lures and Carolina rigs are always an option, too. You will be fishing all the local bridges for species such as Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Drum, and you may be able to catch a tasty Tripletail, too!

Captain Eric’s boat is a 24 ft Ranger that can take up to six guests. Fitted with a powerful 250 HP Yamaha motor, it can go between fishing spots fast, and you can be sure you will be in the right place with the boat’s range of navigational electronics. The boat will come clean and ready to go with all the gear you and your group will need, as well as cold drinks for you to enjoy. If you like, the Captain can fill the bait tank with live bait at an extra cost.

Thank you for your interest and God bless each and every one of you!

I am 41 years old and have spent my whole life fishing the local waters around Slidell, Louisiana. I am lucky to be married to an amazing woman who supports my job wholeheartedly. We are blessed with three wonderful kids and our Heart Jaylen, our grand baby. Our youngest daughter Kayla graduated from Mandeville High with top grades and our middle son, Terry, has recently left to serve in the US NAVY and is based in Illinois at the Great Lakes. We are proud of you Son!!! On March 17th, 2007, our oldest son Christopher was tragically killed (RIP OUR ANGEL). He is the reason I do what I do. Being a charter captain was a dream he had for me many years before his death. We wanted to do it together. He was the kind of person who left a mark on everyone he met. Everyone loved him and he was one HECK of a fishing and hunting partner. The best a Dad could ever ask for. After he passed I became passionate about doing what we had dreamed of doing together. So here I am - LIVING A DREAM.
