About this listing
The Meca has become a staple part of the Belize fly fishing scene. Built in 1999 by the legendary Belize guide Martin McCord. It was conceived and built with one purpose in mind – to be the perfect mothership for fly fishing around Belize.
The Meca is 45 feet long with a wide beam of 14 and a half feet, making it an incredibly stable ride. Depending on the group size, it will tow either one or two 23 foot shallow draft skiffs, each equipped with 40 HP motors for flats fishing. It has two spacious, air conditioned cabins, each furnished with oversized single beds and it’s own en-suite bathroom. An extra skiff and guide can be hired for an additional $1,600
You will be met directly at the Belize City International Airport and, within half an hour, you’ll be on board The Meca, getting ready to start the trip of a lifetime catching Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and Barracuda.
