Fish Whistle Charters - Lake

Lake Champlain
Plattsburgh NY, United States

Fish Whistle Charters invites you aboard to explore the fish-filled waters of the famous Lake Champlain. Consistently rated as one of the best Bass fishing lakes by the Bassmaster Tournament Series, this large body of water straddles New York and Vermont. Here, you can fish some of the most productive waters in the northern United States - make sure you do so with a guide who knows the local fishery like the back of his hand.

Fish Whistle Charters’ captain, John Graham, fishes the waters of Lake Champlain from July to September every year. He has been testing the waters of this fishery for nearly three decades, giving him a wealth of knowledge that he is ready to share with anyone who comes aboard his boat. Whether you want to try your hand at Bass fishing, or would rather test yourself against a large Northern Pike or Lake Trout, he will give you the top tips for a successful trip. Most importantly, he will make sure you are having a great time while doing so.

You will be fishing aboard the “Fish Whistle”, a 20 ft dual console Angler boat that is fully equipped to get you tackling the local waters like a pro. Its dependable Mercury engine will get it between the fishing spots in no time, while its Lowrance electronics will ensure that you are always in the best place to hook your target. You will find two Cannon downriggers on board to give you access to monster Lake Trout, as well as a 30 gallon live well for your bait. Best of all, the boat has a large seating area covered with a canvas top to protect you from inclement weather conditions.

All the equipment you will need for your fishing adventure is provided: just bring along a fishing license and some snacks and get ready to have some fun!
