Capt. Sig’s 43’ custom Ricky Scarborough allows you to fish the sea with speed and comfort. This vessel is fitted with a range of navigational gear and marine electronics, including GPS and Fishfinder. A fighting chair will help you reel in the hardest fighting catch. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned salon and a private toilet ensure that you won’t sacrifice your comfort. An experienced crew is standing by to assist in any way you need.
Capt. Sig is passionate about all kinds of fishing techniques and strategies, from light tackle fishing inshore to big game fishing and saltwater fly fishing. Whether you are a seasoned angler or a novice, he is ready to help you try your hand at a variety of methods such as bottom fishing, trolling, and kite fishing. Capt. Sig provides top-of-the-line gear by Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa.
Hot Shot Charters include a fishing license, gear, bottled water, and soft drinks. The boat is conveniently docked at Dinner Key Marina Pier 1 in Coconut Grove. You are welcome to take home any keeper fish you catch, and Capt. Sig will gladly clean and bag it for you.

Eight hour private charter
This is far and away the best charter I’ve been on! Captain Sig knows his business like no one else out there and made sure everyone was on game start to finish. He knows the waters and techniques inside out and makes sure everything’s going just as it should. The mates Ray and John were fantastic, worked hard all day non-stop, and really great guys to chat with. Hot Shot is an awesome boat and they keep it in great condition, very clean, way better than other charters I’ve taken. Overall, it’s really obvious how much pride they take in their work. Got on great with everyone and next time I can be back in the area, hopefully late summer/early fall, no question Captain Sig’s the first guy I’m going to call. Can’t say enough good things about this charter - just a really great day all round and can’t wait to be back for the next one.

Great trip.
Capt. Zig and his first mate put us on the fish. Changed leaders, and spread set up to try and get bites anytime the bite felt like it was going cold. It’s nice only going out a few miles to be in trolling depth. We will use him again on our next trip.

Amazing!
Booked the trip for my husbands birthday. It was amazing! The captain was very prepared and friendly. They caught a lot of very tasty fish that we got to eat the same night. Will definitely do it again. It was a spectacular experience my husband won’t stop talking about, from the types of fish they saw to how knowledgeable the boat crew was. Full day trip with Captain Sig.
Me and my family had a good time in the water yesterday. We didn’t exactly kill’em but did enjoy ourselves and caught a clod nice kings. Just being out in the ocean is satisfying for most of us especially if it’s your passion. Captain Sig did an excellent job trolling and I know he was making sure he was putting us on fish. And mates John and Jason were fantastic always on the job no matter how slow it seemed to get. They played a big part keeping us interested and didn’t let up one minute. Thank you Captain Sig and crew for a good time.
