Enjoy your fishing trip with Wildblue Charters aboard a 40-foot Salthouse sportsfisher boat, which comes powered by a 360 HP Volvo engine. Originally built in 1996, the vessel was restored in 2016 and can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. It is fully rigged with Raymarine navigational electronics, which include a GPS, fish finder, VHF radio, and a radar. This vessel goes above and beyond, featuring Extended Offshore Limits with enhanced safety items such as a liferaft.
For your maximum comfort when spending your day out on the water, there are two showers, a flybridge to aid your search for the fish, a bedroom with several beds, and a kitchen with a refrigerator. What else is needed? The boat is equipped with an anchoring motor to make sure it stays rooted, an ice-box, a fighting chair for those who are up to a challenge, a live bait tank, and Tuna tubes. As well as that, the vessel is equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and centerriggers.
Depending on the season and what is biting, you will be targeting a variety of fish species, such as Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin, John Dory, Swordfish, Hapuku, Red Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna…and the list just keeps going!
The Captain and his crew are very familiar with the best techniques to land the local fish. You will be able to go for trolling, jigging, popping, drift fishing, and light and heavy tackle.
Every trip with Wildblue Charters comes inclusive with all the necessary fishing equipment to put your catch together, as well as fish cleaning and filleting. Fresh water, tea, and coffee will be offered during the trip, so you can feel free to bring your own snacks with you. Lunch can also be arranged upon request.
