Coastal Fishing Guides is a family-owned business, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. They are run and operated by Captain Matt Swan, a fisherman with an excellent reputation, who has many years of experience fishing the waters of the Charleston area. He uses the highest quality of equipment to ensure that your fish stay hooked.
You will be sailing aboard a brand-new spacious vessel, fitted with the most up to date electronics, a Power-Pole anchor, and a Minn Kota I-Pilot wireless trolling motor. The boat is a 25’ flats boat, accommodating up to 6 anglers on board. Garmin GPS and fishfinder will aid your search for the best fish, so you can sit back and enjoy your day!
Capt. Matt believes that bait selection, presentation, and tide movement are key to catching the best fish. You will be targeting Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Sheepshead. The trips start early, so if you are ready to take a morning dip in the waters, feel free to join!
Enjoy a half day light and medium tackle workout, add a few more hours to catch trophy fish, or spend your day fishing the wrecks and nearshore for Amberjack, King Mackerel, Sharks, and many more. The trips are all-inclusive. You will be provided with rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and fishing licenses. The captain will also offer drinks and snacks.
At an additional cost, the crew can offer lunch, but you can feel free to bring your own food and personal items. Capt. Matt offers a complimentary fish cleaning and filleting service so that you could take your catch home and have it for dinner after the trip. Or just fill the freezer!
With its deep-rooted values of providing knowledgeable and friendly services, Coastal Fishing Guides will give you a lifetime of vacation memories!
