Whipsaw Sportfishing offers exciting deep sea fishing adventures out of Honolulu, Hawaii. These tropical waters offshore Oahu offer some of the best fishing opportunities in the world.

Enjoy your trip aboard a renowned 35’ Cabo, powered by twin 435 HP Caterpillar engines. Originally built in 1997, Whipsaw was upgraded with new motors in 2024. It has a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots and is fully equipped with all the navigational equipment, sonar, and electronics needed for success offshore. 

The boat has a flybridge to aid in the search for the fish, an ice-box to keep the catch cold, a fighting chair, and cushioned outdoor seating. Inside, the boat is air-conditioned and features a toilet, refrigerator, and plenty of couch space for you to relax in between the bites.

On your charter you will fish the deep waters offshore Oahu. You will be trolling for Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Wahoo, Bigeye Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, and Yellowfin Tuna.

A trip with the crew comes inclusive of all necessary equipment. You will be provided with rods, reels, tackle, lures, licenses and all necessary fishing equipment. If you book a private trip, you will be able to keep up to 50 pounds of fish. Fish over 100 pounds will not be cut into as these fish are sold by the crew as a part of their income. For shared trips, each person will be able to keep 2-3 lbs of fish per person. Please also bring any snacks and drinks you would like to have throughout your trip.

Please note that gratuity for the crew is not included in the price of your charter and 20% is customary if you enjoy your trip.
