Enjoy your fishing trip with Captain Keith Barker aboard his fully tournament rigged Ranger Bay 2400 boat. It comes powered by a 225 HP Mercury OptiMax engine and can take up to four guests. Originally built in 2007, the vessel was fully upgraded in 2015. Its navigational electronics include Generation 3 HDS Lowrance sonar, 3 D Structure Scan Sonar, Chirp Sonar, Sirius Satellite Weather, and GPS MFD. As well as that, the boat is rigged with a trolling motor, Power Pole, and a live bait tank. Lowrance, Simrad, Case Plastics, Kick’n Bass, and B&G equipment is all used on board. Captain Keith also uses Mizmo Tube Baits, Rapala Crank Baits and Big Mouth Spinnerbaits and is a Pure Fishing Select Angler.

Captain Keith Barker will take you fishing the tidal Potomac River, as well as The Pocomoke and The Chester Rivers. Keith is very familiar with tournament-level techniques and knows how to land Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, and Catfish. You will be taken to the spots where you can be competitive, spinning, trolling, and bottom fishing while enjoying the beauty of the DC monuments.

Capt'n Keith Barker is a native Washingtonian. He learned how to fish when he was a young child He caught his first Bass over 50 years ago on a Hula Popper on the Ohio Canal. He’s been hooked on Bass and Cat-fishing ever since. Ask him about his secret weapon for Monster Blue Cats in the Potomac River. He has fished the Tidal Potomac River since he was in high school. He is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain and a licensed Maryland Freshwater & Tidal Water Guide. He drives a Ranger Bay 2400 fully tournament rigged boat, power is a 225 HP Mercury OptiMax. It's equipped with two 12” Touch Screen, Generation 3 HDS Lowrance sonar/GPS MFD’s including 3 D Structure Scan Sonar Chirp Sonar and Sirius Satellite Weather. He is a Lowrance, Simrad, B & G, Case Plastics and Kick’n Bass Pro Staffer and a Pure Fishing Select Angler. Capt’n Keith has volunteered as a BSA adult leader for over 20 years serving as a Scoutmaster & merit badge counselor for Boy Scout Troop 403 in Bowie, MD.

Great experience and in very capable hands with Captain Keith. We didn’t get as many fish as we hoped but Keith new all the waters and tried lots of different areas for us.

Had a great day on the Potomac River with Captain Keith Barker.  He has a top of the line fully rigged Ranger boat.  He is an extremely knowledgeable fisherman and has constantly but me on the fish…
