Viking Son Sport Fishing invites you to fish the beautiful waters of New Bedford, Massachusetts with them. The charter is owned by Captain Ken Perry who has over 35 years of fishing experience and is well known for putting his guests on the fish and providing excellent customer service.

You will go out on a 35’ Egg Harbor offshore sportfishing boat, originally built in 1987, and restored in 2016. This beauty is powered by twin 350 HP Crusader engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 22 knots.

The boat is fully equipped with all the safety features and electronics you may need. It has a comfortable seating area in the salon, a kitchen and a toilet, and a multimedia system.

Capt. Ken will take you fishing out of New Bedford and to the waters of the Elizabeth Islands, Buzzards Bay, Vineyard Sound, and Martha’s Vineyard. These waters are abundant with fish life such as Porgy, Black Seabass, Flounder, Haddock, Cod, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Blue and Mako Sharks, and Bluefin Tuna.

The crew will make sure your offshore adventure goes well and that you are having fun while bending rods. You will have all the fishing gear available on board, as well as first mate to help you reel in your catch.

Captain Ken Perry is a United States Merchant Marine officer with 30-plus years at the helm. He has extensive offshore fishing experience which he has acquired by fishing from the Dominican Republic to Maine. You will, for sure, have a successful and safe trip!
