The vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots and is rigged with a live bait tank and navigational electronics, such as a GPS, a VHF radio, and a fish finder. The boat is fitted with downriggers, a wireless trolling motor for a quiet ride, an anchoring system to make sure you stay rooted to your fishing grounds, and an ice-box to keep the catch fresh during the day.

Up to four guests are welcome to join Dakota Walleye Guide Service. The waters of Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe are one of the most attractive fishing destinations in the world and Walleye fishing is excellent all year around. Lake Oahe is also famous for trophy Northern Pike and Chinook Salmon. As well as that, you will target Catfish and Smallmouth Bass. There are 2,100 miles of shoreline on Lake Oahe alone!

I am a licensed U.S Coast Guard Captain. Ref. # 2987218. I have 54 South Dakota Trophy Angler Awards, along with CPR and First Aid certifications, a South Dakota Safe Boating Certificate and commercial insurance. He has placed highly in several local tournaments and entered 2 professional walleye tournaments: the Team Walleye Circuit and the RCL Walleye Tour. Both of these tournaments were on Lake Sharpe. I took 3rd place in the Team Walleye out of over 80 boats, and 29th out of 150 boats in the RCL. 2nd place in the High Rollers Pike Tournament in Pierre SD. 3rd place in the Carl's Bait Shop Iron Man Walleye Tournament.
