Baldheaded Bobby Guide Service offers trips throughout North Carolina’s shallows and coastal waters, hitting the best spots for each species on the hunt for trophy catches and tasty treats. Pick your trip and jump aboard for a load of fun in one of the East Coast’s most unique fisheries.
You will be launching out of Oriental, NC, near the mouth of the Neuse River. The inshore waters here are packed full of Red and Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and Striped Bass. You can take on all these species on a productive “Mixed Bag” charter or focus on just the biggest bull Drum for some serious sportfishing.
Heading out past the calm bays and into coastal waters, a whole new cast of characters joins the party. From light tackle terrors like False Albacore to bigger game like Sharks and Cobia, you really have your work cut out for you on these charters.
To get the most out of this varied fishery, you’ll need a boat that’s stable enough to fish open water without running aground in the shallows. That’s exactly what you get with Captain Bobby Brewer’s 22’ Sea Hunt center console. Built in 2015, this modern, adaptable vessel is your ticket to dominating the water both inshore and farther out.
The boat’s trolling motor will let you navigate the shallows safely and silently. You’ll be right on top of the fish without spooking them! Farther out, her fishfinder and GPS add to the captain’s years of experience to build a picture of the water below. This gives you more time fishing and less time searching.
All trips come with rods, reels, tackle, and bait, which Capt. Bobby will prepare ahead of the trip to save you valuable fishing time. Fishing licenses are covered by the boat and Capt. Bobby will clean and fillet all your fish at the end of the day. All you need to worry about is fitting them in your cooler.
