Cast and Blast Charters - Louisiana

6241 Delacroix Highway
St. Bernard LA, United States

Cast and Blast Charters invites you on a fishing adventure in the marshes of Louisiana. They are located only 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans, Delacroix in Louisiana and provide an excellent service and the best trips the Gulf Coast has to offer.

The charter is operated by Captain Chris Pike who has fished since he was a little boy and was the youngest person to receive a USCG Captain’s License at the age of 17. He has guided fishing and duck hunting trips ever since and has not looked back. Captain Chris is a fun person whose greatest moments on the water include those when his clients have a successful trip.

Captain Chris will take you out on his 25-foot Skeeter center console powered by a 300 HP Mercury Verado engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots. This monster speed means you will get you the desired fishing grounds very quickly and be able to cast right away. You will have all the fishing gear on board including rods, reels, tackle, lures, lives bait, and a fishing license. If you like to fly fish there is also fly fishing equipment available.

Cast and Blast Charters will take you fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder. The beautiful estuary of south Louisiana is a place like no other on the planet, and the fishing exceeds any expectations you could have. So, come down for a morning or evening trip and make memories that will last a lifetime with one of Louisiana’s most premier saltwater guide services!

Throughout my childhood, I became extremely interested in fishing at a very young age and I was lucky enough to have every opportunity possible to enjoy fishing and hunting with my dad, who taught me how to be a successful guide and how to enjoy every minute in the outdoors. At the age of 17 I completed my United States Coast Guard license and became the youngest person to ever receive a captains license. As soon as I turned 18, I started guiding duck hunts and fishing trips and I have never looked back. I enjoy nothing more than to watch clients on my boat enjoying catching fishing, and the smiles on their faces, knowing I helped create a lifelong memory.

Captain Chris is a pro, and he delivered one of the best fishing trips and overall on the water experiences we’ve ever had. Caught our limits too.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris and Cast and Blast!

Both of these captains are good. They put us on fish both days. With Captain Nick fished afternoon, With a limit of overs and lacked 2 having full limit of reds and 2 having limit of black drum. There was 4 people fishing. Captain Nick was very helpful to my wife, she caught the biggest red 12.79 lbs. We had 4 over 12lbs.
Fished the morning with Captain Chris, The same 4 of us and had a limit of red’s and only 2 over. Two great fishing trips. yes I would recommend both captains and we will be going back.
