Journeyman Sportfishing offers a great variety of action-packed adventures out of Port Canaveral, Florida. If you are looking for some fine angling and outstanding catches aboard one of the best recreational sport fishing vessels in the entire area, Journeyman Sportfishing is your best choice.

Enjoy your trip with Journeyman Sportfishing aboard a 31-ft Black Watch, which comes powered by twin 350 Caterpillar engines. The vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots and provides comfortable fishing space for up to six guests. Originally built in 1987, the Black Watch was completely upgraded and prepared for the current bite in 2014. All the latest navigational electronics are fitted on board to ensure a quality fishing experience: a GPS, a VHF radio, a fish finder, and a radar. For your maximum comfort on the water, there is a toilet on board. An anchoring system is fitted to make sure you stay connected to the fishing grounds, an ice-box keeps the catch fresh during the day, and the boat’s outriggers and downriggers make the offshore trolling a professional experience.

With plenty of power and shade, the Journeyman Sportfishing’s boat is one of the fastest and most comfortable vessels in the Port Canaveral charter fleet. On your day out, you will be bottom fishing off the reef for Grouper and Snapper, trolling for King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. As well as that, you will target bull Redfish, large Black Drum, Tarpon, and even Sharks!

If fishing isn’t something you have in mind, the Journeyman’s crew offers sunset cruises and rocket launch trips.

A fishing trip comes inclusive with all you need to make an outstanding catch possible. You will be provided with the licenses for you and your group, as well as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait when available. If you decide to keep the catch, it can be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip for a ride home. Make sure you bring your own snacks and food with you.

Excellent experience. Eddie knew where the fish were and him and chase were right there to make sure our group had a great experience. I took along my 10 year old daughter and she enjoyed every minute of the trip. I would highly recommend Journeyman fishing charters for all ages.

We didn’t catch any cobia or mahi but we caught 5 nice king mackerels. All the boats were struggling to catch fish so our 5 Kings were a good day. I did catch a nice snapper but we had to return it to the sea.

Captain Chad and Chase our deck hand were friendly and fun. I would highly recommend them.

This was an amazing experience! Right off the bat chad was super friendly and welcoming! We set out for a sunset cruise and chad asked if we wanted to watch it by NASA or by cocoa beach.  We went close to NASA’s coast and could even see the launch pads. My husband LOVED that! We originally were going to go out Friday, but ron, who I had been talking to , helping me set this up, said that the weather was not the best and that Sunday looks great. So we went Sunday and the weather was wonderful!
We were able to do fishing as well as watch the sunset! My husband ended up catches a spinner shark! He had so much fun with it! I myself, ended up catcher a dozen or so smaller fish, and almost on other shark. Chad helped us the whole time telling my husband how to handle the shark.
The view was unlike any other! And the company was great! We will definelty go again if we get another chance to head back to Florida again!
I would definitely recommend this sunset cruise for anyone who wants a romantic night!
