Journeyman Sportfishing offers a great variety of action-packed adventures out of Port Canaveral, Florida. If you are looking for some fine angling and outstanding catches aboard one of the best recreational sport fishing vessels in the entire area, Journeyman Sportfishing is your best choice.
Enjoy your trip with Journeyman Sportfishing aboard a 31-ft Black Watch, which comes powered by twin 350 Caterpillar engines. The vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots and provides comfortable fishing space for up to six guests. Originally built in 1987, the Black Watch was completely upgraded and prepared for the current bite in 2014. All the latest navigational electronics are fitted on board to ensure a quality fishing experience: a GPS, a VHF radio, a fish finder, and a radar. For your maximum comfort on the water, there is a toilet on board. An anchoring system is fitted to make sure you stay connected to the fishing grounds, an ice-box keeps the catch fresh during the day, and the boat’s outriggers and downriggers make the offshore trolling a professional experience.
With plenty of power and shade, the Journeyman Sportfishing’s boat is one of the fastest and most comfortable vessels in the Port Canaveral charter fleet. On your day out, you will be bottom fishing off the reef for Grouper and Snapper, trolling for King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. As well as that, you will target bull Redfish, large Black Drum, Tarpon, and even Sharks!
If fishing isn’t something you have in mind, the Journeyman’s crew offers sunset cruises and rocket launch trips.
A fishing trip comes inclusive with all you need to make an outstanding catch possible. You will be provided with the licenses for you and your group, as well as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait when available. If you decide to keep the catch, it can be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip for a ride home. Make sure you bring your own snacks and food with you.
