“Skyway Sportfishing” is a premier charter service in beautiful Anna Maria Island, Florida! We specialize in nearshore reef fishing 3-8 miles offshore for a variety of fish including snapper, grouper, key west grunts, porgies, hogfish, spanish mackerel, king mackerel, little tunny tuna, sharks and barracudas. We also specialize in fishing Tampa Bay for snook, seatrout, spanish mackerel, sharks, and jacks. We love to show kids and families the great fishing we have off of Anna Maria Island!
Your vessel for the day is 28’ WhiteWater center console, custom-built by famous boat builder Norm Collins. This fishing machine can comfortably accommodate up to 4 anglers and is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 46 knots.
She features a full walk-around casting platform and comes equipped with the latest navigational electronics including GPS and Fishfinder. There’s also an anchoring system to help you stay rooted, an ice-box to keep your catch fresh, 3 live wells, and a full T-top for some welcome shade.
Your trip comes inclusive with all the necessary equipment to make an outstanding catch possible. That includes rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. Any catch you choose will be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip. Bring along any drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy and you’re ready to go!

We had a great time fishing with Captain Tony! This was our family’s first guided fishing trip, and he made it a blast from start to finish. My wife and two teenage boys had an awesome time, and we caught all kinds of fish including several trout, tons of snook, a small grouper, and a couple of catfish. Captain Tony was super laid-back, easy to talk to, and made the whole trip enjoyable. He was great at helping us find fish and keeping things fun the entire time. You can tell he enjoys what he does and wants everyone on his boat to have a good experience. More than anything, he helped make some great family memories for us. If we decide to book another guided fishing trip in the future, we’ll definitely be calling Captain Tony again. Highly recommend!
10/10 experience. Captain Tony has perfected his craft. We went out for the 4 hour morning fish. We are not experienced fishermen, but that did not matter. Captain Tony takes care of everything, makes you feel comfortable/welcome, and he knows where the fish are! He is fast paced. If you aren’t catching fish he is going to move you to where they are. The boat is great and clean. Tony is a great dude! He took care of everything from bating the lines, rebooking, and helping net the fish. He even cleaned them for us after. Highly recommend. Our only regret was we didn’t do a full day.
This trip was pretty last minute for us, we booked the day before. Captain Tony made it a great experience and put us on a ton of fish! Absolutely no regrets from us, caught a snapper and grouper on almost every cast at certain spots. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to catch a lot of fish and have a fun time!
From the moment we stepped aboard Captain Tony's boat, we knew we were in for a special day. The vessel was absolutely immaculate, gleaming under the perfect Florida sun. Captain Tony himself was the definition of a professional—incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, he made sure our family felt comfortable and confident from start to finish. The weather was a dream, and so was the fishing! We spent the day reeling in a fantastic haul of Spanish Mackerel, Lady Fish, and Jacks, which made for an unforgettable feast later on. The only thing that got away was a massive, 40-pound Barracuda right at the boat, but that just adds to the legend of our trip. Captain Tony's expertise and friendly demeanor created a truly amazing adventure for our family. We're already counting the days until our next trip to Anna Maria Island and can't wait to book another fishing charter with him. If you're looking for an incredible day on the water, look no further than Captain Tony!
Tony was phenomenal. Helped us and especially my 11 yr son. Took us to a couple of spot to ensure a successful outing and it was beyond successful. Can’t wait to go fishing with Tony again. The black tip shark that was caught for a sec was the cherry on top!
