Hooks & Horns Fishing Guide Service

161 Cove Harbor North
Rockport TX, United States

Hooks & Horns Fishing Guide Service offers adventures on some of the most pristine bays in Texas. If you are looking to have a fun day out on the waters of Aransas Pass, Rockport, Ingleside, and Port Aransas – look no further. Bring your desire to catch fish and welcome on board!

Enjoy your trip with Hooks & Horns Fishing Guide Service aboard a 26-foot Mowdy center console, which comes powered by a 250 HP Evinrude G2 HP engine. The boat provides comfortable fishing space for up to six guests and is rigged with a GPS to find the shortest path to your fishing grounds, a wireless trolling motor for a quiet ride, an ice-box to keep the catch fresh during the day, and a live bait tank.

On your day out with the Captain, you will be fishing in the saltwater bays and flats surrounding Rockport, Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, and Ingleside – all depending on your personal preferences and the season. Trips are five and eight hours, you only need to choose how much time you want to spend on the water.

While fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout, who knows what else you may find at the end of your line: Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Black Drum, Tripletail, Ladyfish, and even small Sharks.

The Captain is a strong believer in conservation of the world’s resources and catch-and-release practice. But if you want to keep the catch and have it mounted, that’s ok, too. Trout that are 15”-25” make the perfect eating size!

A trip with Hooks & Horns Fishing Guide Service comes inclusive with all the necessary equipment to make a great catch possible. You will be provided with rods, reels, tackle, and lures. If you decide to keep the catch after the trip, it could be cleaned and filleted for a ride home, where you could store it in the freezer or try for dinner. If you want, you can feel free to bring your own drinks and food with you on board. You also need to purchase the licenses prior to the trip.

Capitan worked hard to catch fish.  We scored redfish first thing in the morning, but the trout were illusive.  Wind blew pretty strong, but Justin worked hard to try and find fish.  Overall a very satisfying trip

I book fishing trips with Captain Justin because I can bring my wife and daughter(7yrs) with me and know we can all enjoy the trip. Justin works hard to put customers on fish. By using a professional guide it allows me to enjoy the day with my family rather than hustling to keep bait on the hooks and hoping we can find some fish.

Captain Justin was very knowledgeable and knew where to find the fish. Our nephew had a blast catching reds. It was a very fun day on the water. We will definitely use him for future trips and highly recommend him.
