Midnight Fleet - Midnight Star
Midnight Fleet invites you aboard the Midnight Star for a premier fishing experience in Brooklyn, New York. The charter operates out of Sheepshead Bay and into the most productive waters of the open ocean. This bustling neighborhood, just an hour from Manhattan, allows you to enjoy first-class fishing right by the world’s biggest metropole.
Sheepshead Bay offers the chance of targeting a variety of fish species to be caught throughout the year. Striped Bass come into season in June and are present until Fall. The high season for Fluke is April and May; Bluefish, Porgy, Cod, and Ling come into season in late Summer and are available all through the Fall months and until the beginning of December.
Midnight Fleet will take you out on their 70-foot Hawkers Island saltwater fishing boat powered by two 650 HP Detroit engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 13 knots. This boat is your best choice for a traditional fishing experience that also provides anglers with space and comfort, offering indoor and outdoor spaces. The boat is fully equipped with safety and navigation equipment that ensures a safe and productive trip and features a toilet for your convenience.
The crew of the Midnight Star provides the option for guests to rent rods and reels on each trip (the rental cost is $7.00), or you can bring your best gear with you. A first mate will be on board to teach you all the top tricks, and help you reel in your catch. A fishing license is included too, so all you have to bring is a cooler with ice for your catch.
Midnight Fleet offers private charters for groups of up to 60 persons, and shared trips for smaller groups who want to share their experience with others. Anything you want can be arranged, so get in touch and come aboard!
