Captain Glen Brownlee owns Scales and Tails Charters, fishing the majestic Estero Bay and Pine Island Sound. Whether this is your first time fishing or you’re a veteran angler, everyone is sure to appreciate a day on the productive waters of SW Florida.
No matter what your skill level is, Captain Brownlee is helpful, courteous and professional at all times. He’s committed to you catching fish and having a great day in Fort Myers Beach.
As a professional firefighter for 25 years, Capt. Glen learned that customer service is the key to a successful business. Today, he operates a 20’ Sea Chaser flats boat, equipped with conventional navigational electronics of a fishing boat, such as GPS and fishfinder, as well as a cooler with ice.
The boat comes powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and can accommodate up to 4 anglers fishing in full comfort. It features a wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, and the most reliable safety gear out there.
The captain’s primary launch point tends to be Hickory Bait and Tackle, located at the Weeks Landing, however, he’ll gladly launch where the fish are! That’s how he ensures your trip ends up with one or more abundant inshore game fish of Southwest Florida, such as Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Cobia, Tripletail, Sea Trout, and many more.
Florida fishing permits for all anglers fishing with Scales and Tails are included in the price. Armed with the best light tackle and live bait, all provided by the captain, you’ll be unstoppable on the water. All fishing equipment (apart from fly rods) are covered by Glen and he’ll be happy to assist with cleaning and filleting your day’s catch after a successful trip.
So don’t wait a second longer and book your ticket for a life-changing experience!
