Captain Jeff: "As of June 1, we are operating with normal procedures and availability. With regard to Covid-19, we have lifted all limitations on groups. We can take any assortment of people up to 6 people per boat. If you have more people, we have 3 boats available."
Hilton Head Sport Fishing welcomes you aboard for an exciting day fishing the sound or the ocean for some big, tasty fish. Captain Jeff Kline specializes in family-friendly fishing trips which are suitable for children and grandparents alike. He and his team can also tailor a trip to suit any group, from competitive sportfishing types to Marines from the nearby Paris Island. All are welcome onboard.
You will be fishing aboard the “True Grits,” a 34’ custom Fitz sportfishing boat freshly-restored in 2018. The vessel is licensed to carry six guests, and has plenty of space for you all to fish and relax in comfort. True Grits has a full bathroom and plenty of shade to make your trip more enjoyable. She is also loaded with quality equipment to let you bring in the best of each species you target.
You have plenty of options for what to target on your trip. The waters around Hilton Head Island are full of everything from Redfish and Seabass to King Mackerel and Tarpon, but Capt. Jeff’s specialty species are Sharks. Blacktips, Bulls, and even Tiger Sharks can be caught here. You can fish the sound for smaller Sharks or head out in search of bigger fish to fight.
However you choose to spend your day, you can rely on a skilled team and a dedicated captain who will do everything they can to make your trip special. All rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and licenses are included. At the end of the day, your catch will even be cleaned and filleted for you free of charge. Just bring whatever you want to eat and drink and plenty of energy for the day ahead.
