Mike Mcdowell was born and raised in Alaska and was an avid fisherman from a very young age. He purchased the Kvichak Lodge in 1984 and has since turned it into a beautiful retreat in the middle of a very remote Alaskan area in Igiugig. He loves having new and returning guests around and introducing them to the beauty of this breathtaking place.
