Blue Pearl II offers family-friendly fishing trips out of Quepos, Costa Rica. The Captain and the crew are very familiar with the methods that work best to catch the fish. On your day out, they will take you fishing the hottest grounds, so get ready – your adventure can result in many outstanding catches!
Enjoy your fishing trip aboard “Blue Pearl II”, a 32-foot Hatteras boat, which comes powered by twin 350 HP Cummins engines. It has a maximum cruising speed of 24 knots and provides comfortable fishing space for up to six anglers. Its navigational electronics include a GPS, a VHF radio, and a fish finder. An ice-box is fitted on board to keep the catch fresh during the day, as well as Tuna tubes, a live bait tank, a fighting chair for the most passionate fishermen, and outriggers for a professional fishing experience. Inside, there is a toilet, a shower, and a bed for your maximum comfort when relaxing in between the bites.
On your day out with Blue Pearl II, you will be fishing inshore or offshore, depending on your personal preferences. The crew use various methods to land the fish, including light and heavy tackle, trolling, and spinning. Your targeted species will include Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Snook, Wahoo, Amberjack, Milkfish, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Sailfish… and the list keeps going!
A trip with Blue Pearl II comes inclusive with snorkeling equipment if you want to take a dip in those waters, as well as all the gear you need to make a successful catch possible.
You will be provided with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, along with the cleaning and filleting service of whatever you want to keep. The crew usually provides bait before the trip, but when that’s not possible they’ll go after it at the start of the trip. Any time spent searching for bait is not counted in the total trip time. The crew will also offer food and drinks during the trip.
Kids under the age of 10 go fishing for free!
