Let me first start off by saying I stumbled upon this boat and crew thru fishing booker. I was actually looking for something else. There was only 1 review and it wasn’t favorable, but I never trust just 1 review. So, I looked up Rampage on Facebook and they had a ton of great responses. I went ahead and booked…

Glad I did! My husband and I ended up with a father, his daughter (about 11 years old) and what I assume was a cousin around 13 years old. Our first mate Daniel was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive (especially helpful to the young girls). He knew the good fishing spots and worked with he captain to ensure that’s where we were headed. Danny also kept the pace quick my ensuring our hooks were always baited or trading out our gear if we had a hiccup.

At first I thought our Captain, Barry, was going to be a typical salty sailor. He didn’t say much when we boarded the boat, or anything until we got to our fishing spot. But once there he came down his perch, he mingled with the guests and cracked a few jokes.

We caught a variety of fish and ton of snapper!! Everyone was reeling in fish at least every 10 minutes. But our 13 year old girl was the luckiest! In addition to our haul, she hooked a beautiful parrot fish and even a small shark!

When we got back to the pier, Danny skilllfully fileted our catch and we all took turns feeding the giant tarpon that hung near the boat.

Overall, it was a great trip and a very nice morning!
