This was our second time with Captain Rambo. We did the half day in the morning and caught 14 fish with another 4-6 getting off the line. The boat is big enough for 4 adults, although 3 is the right number with two in the Captains chairs and one on the small bench. It was nice to have a toilet onboard. They communicated well, what we were doing and where we were going. They have the best ‘spots’ picked out. From the second we got lines in the water until we called it a day, we we’re catching fish. It’s an hour out and an hour back so plan on 2-3 total hours of fishing with the half day.

The captain and his crew were amazing. This is the second time we have gone deep sea fishing with this specific charter and captain. The crew is kind and helpful and make it such a fun and enjoyable experience. This is an experience that is fun for both adults and children, and everyone in between. All fishing levels are sure to have a good time as the crew members allows your group to catch the bait for the day before heading to deeper waters where the bigger fish are. The captain takes you to various areas where you’re sure to catch a multitude of fish including barracuda, Wahoo, red snapper, grouper, and many more. Everytime we have gone with this crew they clean and filet our fish, then escort us to a local restaurant that prepares and cooks your freshly caught fish in whatever way you would like. The crew was very helpful and helped us get our family of 6 including 4 small children from the boat to the restaurant. I will 100% utilize this charter in the future and they would be my top recommendation for anyone looking to experience deep sea fishing during their vacation! 5 star experience!

My son and I had a blast. The Marina was easy to get to, with safe and available parking.  We were greeted at the door, got on board quickly, and head out through a beautiful channel lined with mangroves. It was a quick ride out to the ocean. The waters were a little rough, but not bad at all.
We started catching fish within minutes of arriving to the fishing spot, a total of 21 Barracuda between the two of us. Captain Rambo is a native and knows the waters very well. We always felt safe. Our helper Allen knew what he was doing and worked really hard, making sure to quickly bait the lines and ensured we always had a hook in the water. Everyone was very friendly. They clean the fish for you if you want to keep any of it, and said the restaurant at the marina could cook it for us if we wanted to, for an additional fee.

Rambo and Roberto were the perfect crew for our 4 person trip to sea!  They were totally committed to making sure we were safe, having fun and CATCHING FISH!! On our tour, we caught an abundance of barracuda, red snapper, grouper, rainbow runner, Bonita , trigger fish, wahoo and our grand prize fish, the giant sail fish. We truly lost count of the fish we caught and the guys were so friendly they felt like family. Very genuine!! After, they recommended a restaurant that prepared our fish for $21US PER PREP.  Delicious!!! We chose ceviche, sashimi, tacos and fried fish from the KRUDO restorante right there on the docks. Muy delicioso!  Anyway, MAMACITAS did not disappoint. Great trip and easy communication before to prepare and plan.  Highly recommend. Note. Small Space. Bring snacks but they have plenty of drinks. Nice shade available under the topper. Wear shoes that don’t slip. Not too rocky of a boat but the sea does move a lot on its own. These guys seem to know what’s up and have a good plan to get you FISH! On the way back, amazing!!! Roberto cut and diced our Bonito fish and prepared a DELICIOUS never been fresher CEVICHE to enjoy with our beer!! Truly fantastico! And ticked a box for my bucket list!!! We caught so many fish……. That…  We offered them our fish that we couldn’t keep and they said okay. Felt good to not waste our caught fish. At the end. They offered to cut our fish and clean it. That’s the fish we took to the restaurant.  Excellent Day!!!! All in all. I say YES to this tour.

The Mamacita crew was awesome. They did all the work to bait, cast, set hooks then let you reel in the fish. They put us on tuna and Bonita for bait (reeled in 3 on one line at one point) then snapper, grouper and trigger for bottom fishing. Then we trolled for barracuda and got 5 of those. All within a 5 hour trip. We had our seasick 5 year old and another seasick adult with, so the captain respectfully came back early. Overall the easiest fishing charter I’ve ever done, the crew put us on fish repeatedly and treated us like royalty. Would recommend!
